It’s better to be born rich than gifted

than sick and poor

 

In a socialist or communist country or dictatorship it is better to be born rich and well connected politically.
In a capitalist country it better to be born talented. then the sky is the limit.

 

I think rich people are rich because they know how to communicate better than the poor.
The rich communicate more intelligently and more convincingly.
The poor often are more dysfunctional, have less influence, their lines of communication often on the same levels of other poor, eg they tend to associate more with the poor in their neighbourhood.
Very difficult for the poor to get going, possibly thru essential services they can, plumbers, panelbeaters, painters, roofies etc.

 

The article clearly states (with data and statistics) that being born rich is better than being poor and smart in America. Or are you saying America is a dictatorship? It can’t be a communist country because there are rich people.

 

America is a mixed economy.

OK, I now understand why few of us traders are rich. We are loners, we don't communicate.

 

As a general rule, most traders are not rich from trading, that's correct.
Those that are rich from trading, are probably not those from a poor background.

 

Would you rather your kids are successful from their own efforts or just given it by their parents ? Wealth can corrupt principles and judgements imho. Spoilt brats are nobodies friends. Does Trump give as much to charity as Bill Gates ?

 

You can't stay away from politics, can you.

What about, does Hillary give as much to charity as Trump?
