  2. Respect is earned. Its a two way street.
And age doesnt matter. You started out on the wrong foot.

I only respect people who display REAL KNOWLEDGE,
    regardless of age or experience.
Something you have not done to date, so I have no reason
    to respect you.

    Again... your claims are empty.
No one is going to believe a word you say until you
show a track record of knowledge. So you can assert
what you have done until you're blue in the face, or you
can actually start to share valuable information and
EARN the respect of your ET peers.

Until then, dont expect anyone to believe anything you say.
They have no rational reason to do so.

    peace

since you've been around 40 years...

(and i guess i could have asked others, but just keeping up on this thread)...

what was the talkback on the NYSE when richard ney's books came out in the 1960s? i know of the furor when darvas' first book came out in the late 1950s, but the only mentions i've seen of commotion RE: ney's materials are the letters he published in his subsequent books.

thanks, from someone just getting born when ney's books where hitting the stores...

Hey guys it's cool I just use the ignore feature. Works very well.

Interesting points Don and others. Good thread so far. I have the Ney book, very interesting and reading it helps reading the tape.

Today was quite weak but I did ok. Been playing high volume big boys F & PFE with 1-3k lots. Quite some serious opportunties and the specialist interference is minimal. I see some serious potential.

If anyone is having a good few last weeks, I'm all ears. No need to disclose your super secret strategy just some tips on how you avoid order execution abuse.

  6. It's too bad you have to act like a donkey's behind, because I could have contributed the specialist perspective to this discussion. Unfortunately, you accuse me of "suddenly showing up". If you had taken a second and look at when I registered, you'll see i've been here about a month. But, this was the first time I felt it appropriate to throw my two cents in.

  8. I'm sure the people who trade listed stocks would like to hear the specialist's perspective. So if you would give us your take on this situation.

    Yo rubber.....

Personally, I, and I'm sure many others would like to hear your perspective. However, if you're such a prima donna that you get your feathers ruffled so easily, then yeah, maybe it is better that you not participate.

All these discussions start out fairly civil, then as more and more EGOS become involved it turns into an all out brawl, IMO its always better to listen. and keep you mouth shut.

    Ciao!
