Iterative Refinement

  1. Thanks for the chart, Spydertrader! Going into debrief mode, especially considering the fact that I started the day wrong...

  2. Many already have the answer you seek, but they also have something else which you do not yet have. Those who have spent time differentiating the various questions posted throughout this thread understand the answers to be far less important than the process used to obtain the answers.

Follow the process of differentiation, and they answers you seek will jump right off the charts.

  3. 1. Missed the Pt3 up this a.m. b/c thought we needed to complete a down traverse from yesterday.

    2. Still cannot differentiate between laterals and tapes (see green lateral annotation in a.m.)

    3. Fooled by PA at 11:10 so missed new up traverse.

    4. Thought 13:00 OB marked end of down channel and started a traverse/channel up.

    Oy vey :(

  5. Even Harmonic represents another internal formation (similar to a Pennant). Correct annotation, with respect to internals often determines whether or not one has reached the sufficient data set required to take timely and appropriate action.

    Hey Spyder,

Can you explain why the 12:15 bar did not provide the R2R for your P2? Thereby making 12:00 to 12:55 a nontradeable traverse for our fractal. This mistake got me off seq until the final up move definitively established itself.

    Thanks,

    -A

  8. Hmmmm. I find this most unlikely. Let us have a show of hands of those (with significant experience) who can consistently identify PA in real time.

Oh, and let's not forget laterals. Who among us has achieved consistent accuracy identifying and annotating laterals in real time?

  10. Yes. And so can you.

How does Price exit a formation (by default)?
