Thanks Spyder. I needed that. BON, although I may appear at times to be looking for the most involved way of doing things, be assured that I revel in simplicity. Have a good evening. lj
With sincere respect to Romanus, this explanation of why :15:50 is a Pt2 just does not make sense to me. One has to ignore the increasing Volume of 15:20 and :25 as well as the left to right movement of Price 30 to :35) and then the resumption of increasing red volume at :40. Just pretend this all never happened. If it was said the the OB at :40 "reset" the traverse and whatever came before it was no longer relevant and :50 is the new Pt2 is an explanation that would make some sense.
Would it not be more accurate to say that 15:25 was a p2 and 15:40 was a p3 but the pace accel to 15:45/15:50 signalled a new p2 at 15:50 which then led to a new p3 at 16:15? Of course, the ob at 15:40 was a bonus indication that a new p2 was on its way.
Hello all I've been a lurker for a while now and first of all want to thank Spydertrader Jack Hershey for putting so much of your time and energy towards sharing your knowledge with others. Would anyone have historical unannotated charts of the ES-5min they would share ?
Given that I was included in the cohort, I also went back in time to drive down that highway. Your comments would imply that 15:25-15:35 are simply a perturbation in the dominant move from Point One to Point Two, so my understanding would be that they represent a dominant internal or a flaw.
