  6. Depending on whether or not Traverse Level trades include non-dominant traverses - I think the signal to reverse short at 11:15 was at pt2 of the green up channel. However, at that point in time that first blue traverse of the day could have been just an accelerated traverse. The green channel does not exist at that time, since the market did not built the non-dom and 2nd dom traverses.

In case of the red down channel, I think the context is different, because one knows what comes next after green up channel. WMCN is a down channel and as such one holds through the non-dominant traverse (bars 14:35 through 15:35) where Spydertrader's chart says no trades on this fractal.

Just my opinion, could be wrong, but logic makes sense to me. Sort of like in old days - one does not know the size of forest until one has a forest.

Both 11:15 and 14:50 are signals for change at the traverse level and both are formed inside a lateral. However, it appears that the context for the two signals is different. The fact that 14:50 is an invalid signal means that the traverse sequence cannot be complete at that time. Since both signals appear after we have had confirmation of the traverse pt3 it must mean that the gaussian sequence is not complete at 14:50.

  8. DKM,

I think Spyder was making the point that since we know that the 13:10 bar completed a channel, we were going to see another channel, but this one would be down. At 14:35 we had a completed traverse, but not a completed channel so a hold at 14:50 was in order. However, if one didn't hold and took the trade the 15:05 bar would serve as the SOC to get back short.

As always I stand ready to be corrected :D

You got my vote here. (FWIW) :) Also, that we should note L2 gaussian (Non-Dom) decreasing black...

At 11:15 we had a traverse level signal to reverse short into the non dom traverse of the forming channel. Are you suggesting that you would hold short through a non dom (long)traverse after 14:35? That's fine if you only wish to trade channels but I am looking to trade each traverse.
