    Really?

I did not define a lateral traverse, the market did.

Perhaps a review of what you 'think' is a lateral traverse is in order.

Oh, never mind, I forgot you put me on ignore.

    Let me put it philosophically...

The shortest route between Point A and Point B is a straight line.

If you are taking longer to reach Point B than you should, you are NOT taking the straight line.

There are no obstacles between the 2 points... except those we put there ourselves.

If there are 10 stair steps between the points, the only safe way to get to the third step is the have a firm stance on the 2nd step.

The journey is a self-realization... the answer is right in front of our eyes, repeated many times...

Someone sent me a PM... he does not like Avi's short answer.

Consider yourself at the race track; you want to bet on a winning horse.
You have read the racing sheets, watched the morning practices, studied many expert analysis.

You want to do further research.
You embark upon studying the urine of the horses.
A trainer came by while you were take samples.
You ask him if this is a worthwhile study.
    The trainer said: "No".

    What should your reaction be?
-- thank him for saving you hundreds of hours of useless research?
-- get upset at him for disagreeing with you?
-- blame him because he has not given you the PhD dissertation for why this is not a good analysis?

  6. In this case (the case of the individual checking out the horse pee), the notion that this might be of consequence with respect to the performance of said pony, does have some precedent: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Equine_drug_testing

  7. I was positive 12:20 represented PV. Not so much now.:( It was actually a new first leg of a traverse.

  9. Guava. I have tried for a month to figure out the differences. Sent spyder many possible answers but none correct yet. I also have asked several in here that I feel have a good grasp of things but have yet to find someone that knows the answer.
My last thought was the depth of the gaus. trough preceding the PV paramaters. In the 1220 case pace stepped down so it would make sense that it would be pace accel not PV. I suspect this is incorrect also. There are so many struggling with this it would be nice to know the correct answer. I understand the reason most questions are answered with a riddle. It has helped build a better foundation by figuring things out. For now I have to exit on these situations. At least when they arrive one should have a profit so all is not lost. I do not reverse on these due to the lack of certainty.

  10. Attached is one of the known instances of Pace Acceleration.

I don't claim to have an answer, but I notice some similarities with yesterday and today.
