Why is the next to last black bar non dominant?

 

a one bar retrace. e.g. IBGS that has made a hh... thus the black color.

 

Have to do the gau yourself.

 

Why does it have to be a retrace? We can just as easily have a bar that goes higher and closes higher, but with decreased volatility.

 

A bit unorthodox - two bars of increasing red in a row between pt2 and pt3, but what do I know. Once the accelerated green traverse got messed up twice - good bye clarity.

Without knowing what price actually looks like, we could just as easily have the attached gaussians.

 

and decreased volume?
