Iterative Refinement

  1. Other than the pace increase on 10:20 bar and SYM next bar - can't think of anything else. I have not yet discovered any significance of one lateral over the other and as such i was just attempting to explain away the differences in those two decreased volume bars. To put it more bluntly - I don't have a slightest clue what's going on and how to even approach the differentiation process.

Dog admiring the diffraction in a rainbow.

  2. Thank you for clarifying Spyder. I will vault ahead and have a looksee. Oh, BTW, I hope you went short, today, at about 15:18 or so.

    Why?

No signal at that time. Came later.

  4. Your points are valid but I would say that 2 feeds are a must. I am a data freak though so it will be hard to cut back.

  6. If your question is addressed to me - my answer is: I don't understand what you're trying to accomplish.

Jokari window is one of the foundation items. Application of it is contingent upon context (e.g. after receiving permission to seek change, in one context decreasing red with price closing inside previous bar means continuation down, while in another context the same decreasing red with price closing inside previous bar results in change signal)

From where I am in a learning curve - I would be the last person to seek the answers from. I was just trying to be helpful by providing the link in case you missed it.

By the laterals forming this way, I paint in my mind a picture of a herd bouncing off the wall...:D They are the easiest ones to spot real time. IMHO.:)

  8. You of course are correct. In truth I did not check. Prescience, painful or not, has no place in the market. However for an alternative viewpoint check out some of the PA threads.

Or better (worse) yet, a thread with a Niederhoffian bent.

  9. YM 15:20 [close of] - is not a jokari window change?

  10. Yes I had for many years a great picture of Newton holding up a prism to a sunbeam. What I was trying to get at was if there was (is) significance when a pace increase is associated with a change in a bar's polarity (black to red/red to black). My guess is that there is but the exact details escape me at present. So I will join you in a spell of colorific relaxation.
