Thought there might be, but you never know - always open the possibility I missed something along the way.. .

lj - I remember that as well (6VMA), something along the lines of "if someone were to use one" the 6 period would be a decent one. Obviously not an endorsement or we'd be using it here.

    TIKI had it right, EZ.

Some are asked to perform tasks in order that they learn to see the market, but continue to proceed down another path.

  3. Shouldn't be too much longer before you'll be headed full time. Nicely done.

  4. And he had it right in more ways than one. Note where he placed 'Sequence Three' on his chart, prior to, its actual arrival. Dominant, non-dominant, Dominant. Sequence One, Two and Three.

  5. Oh. Is that what you were trying to do? Is that what you are trying to do? Your assessment of my effort is singularly unimportant. If what I did failed to meet ST's criterion(a) of correctness, so be it. Seems obvious that if one wishes to be a 5 min ES traverse trader, he's the best one to learn from. He has a unique way of doing things (marketwise) and to some extent looking at things (marketwise).

So spare me the bromides and let me suggest that it might help to broaden your verbal lexicon by reading something other than flight manuals, comic books and ?Maxim.

The other thing that would be really cool, as I've asked several times before, is for you to actually post some real time charts, that you did all on your own.

  7. Good morning everyone,

I've been on the original pace settings, where ES extreme volume was set at 19000k. Been eyeballing the adjustments to pace lines so far..

Refering back for Vorzo's Pace spreadsheet posted at the beginning of this year (last few post in the Journal), I've decided to try it out and see if it works out fine.

Got a question before I get started..
How do you import data from IB into the Spreadsheet like he did?

    Thanks in advance.
    Cheers

Almost sad to witness... The display does have a level of energy on it I have seen few times... But the day has been quite orderly.

  10. Hey Spyder (or, as always, anyone else who knows) in the attached snippet I thought I had a valid trend change signal at 13:45 and if that deduction is correct (and if it isn't we can stop right here) then on annotating further I construct an up traverse and then move into a lateral as shown.

What's bugging me is that the 14:15, :20 and :25 bars (QT time) look to be giving a peak volume signal and although the 14:30 bar shows a mode change (from up to lateral) I would have expected another trend change. This makes me think that the annotation is incorrect. I started the lateral at 14:05 due to pace considerations but as I read things, the peak volume signal holds with or without the lateral.

BTW thank you for restraining yourself the other evening and resorting to just a pair of dental pliers instead of the wretched 2x4. It was late and (whinge, whinge) I'd been looking at the computer for about 12 hours and quite frankly did not know what you meant by 'starting your annotations outside the lateral.

So then is this annotation incorrect and if so is it because the 13:45 JW signal is bogus or is the problem somewhere else?

    TIA
