On your chart - the second khaki colored lateral, that starts at 10:20 [close of] is ending on 10:30 [close of] bar, while the price seems to continue reside inside that lateral. Just want to make sure this is not an annotation error, and there is in fact some subtle differences which indicate , that this lateral ends on 10:30 [close of] bar. Thank you.
Thank you! This is so cool. 10:20 [close of] begins lateral movement, which was not created by pennant or lateral formation. EDIT And also does not perform the function of retrace or traverse 10:25 and 10:30 [close of] both black on decreasing volume which is what lateral movement in up trend is. 10:35 [close of] is IBGS (decreasing red to increasing black) and closes up on increasing volume, so even though it closed within the boundaries of the lateral movement, the increasing black volume component of that IBGS is what tells us that the lateral is over. Am I far off the reservation here?
Has anyone written an official document or compendium for the SCT (Futures) method ? Something reminiscent of an EBook with Chapters and progressive teachings all starting with basic introduction. I checked the previous, now closed journals but they all go back and forth so here I am hoping there is something a bit more manageable like a PDF File. Thank you for your help. Daniel
ES Daily Chart August 22 2008. Still holding daily Sim position short from 1303.50. Gave up a lot of ground today. Are all the sequences satisfied to end the channel? At this point it looks as if the long term daily gaussian is still in a decreasing black range. Looking at the monthly chart, there is a long term right trendline around 1345. Stop loss still in place at 1302.50 and will hold it until triggered, or until position becomes favorable.

Can anyone tell me where there is a detailed explanation of how the newest chart scripts work. In particular I am interested in finding out about the terminology have to do with dry up which has changed from the other chart scripts and the 3 journals.
No terminology changes resulted from this latest chartscript. The new calculations simply more accurately portray Dry Up Volume (and all other Pace Levels). Because of the improved accuracy, the calcualtions for LBDU (and other statistical based calculations) no longer apply to the formula. The calcualtions continue to update daily - just as they always have. HTH. - Spydertrader
