Good place to learn proper annotation. Until that is obtained, any time spent doing anything else just adds delays.
Thanks avi. It's good to have you back again. Perhaps some time you could post a chart (real time would be just great) demonstrating proper annotation. It would really help me and quite possibly others as well, to see what a properly annotated chart should look like. Or if you don't wish to do that, then point out someone, other than Spyder, whose chart satisfies your notion of what proper annotation is. lj
You had ample opportunity to review charts since arriving on ET in Apr 2006. If during that time, one decided not to heed advice and instead, 'do it my way', by way of inane and verbose questions and commentary, then opportunity just might have passed.
So far. It would be really nice (and helpful) if those who felt really confident about this method could post their charts intraday, instead of all this bickering.
Thanks for your response. Actually avi, I did not become involved with JHM until mid-November of 2007 and studied Futures III/IR for some 3 months. Since returning to IR in mid-July I have learned a lot and continue to do so. Hmmmm. That low seems to have held, by 1 tick, no less. Could there really be something to this sequence thingy? Will the 'little price train that could' make it up the big mountain or crump? See gman's prior post to me for the answer to this inane and verbose question and commentary (ho, ho and ho - Hunter S., like Elvis, is not dead). lj
Ok, let's start with 1055. Why do you have this as a point three down? You also annotated a lateral at the same time. This is a binary system. It is one (the lateral) or the other (the pt3). Why do you have both? Time for some differentiation and critical thinking to figure out what is correct. There is NO subjectivity.
Hey, I get the fact you have to be 'right'. Your activity here shows that is more of a concern than learning the market. Cool by me.
Hint to the Gaussian practitioners: Match your gaussians to the fractals. hint hint: are you a tape trader?
It looks to me like 10:55 [close of] is pt3 down because it has increasing red volume. And I also also annotated a lateral at the same time. How else one would know what signal for change the 10:40 [close of] FTT would be. And every FTT also is a signal for change. If one does not have the lateral there, then how would one determine what signal for change that FTT represents? Is my logic here messed up?
