Can it have anything to do with the price location relative to the RTL or LTL? And I guess, that sequences do play an important role in it though. Just a question.

  2. Many Laterals exist on the posted chart. Some represent Lateral Formations. Others show Lateral Movement. In addition, one can locate both Lateral Traverses and Lateral Retraces, as well as Laterals which perform neither role.

Differentiating between Lateral Movement and Lateral Formation does not necessarily differentiate between Lateral Retrace, Lateral Traverse or a Lateral which performs neither role.

In order to avoid over filling the chart with annotations, I have to choose one set of differentiations over another. Yesterday, I simply choose movement vs formation. On other days (on other charts), I have chosen differently.

  5. This is a f/u to an earlier post:

and shows this AM's YM for the first few bars:
What doesn't happen after the first 3 bars is of interest unless the deceleration of pace can be viewed as change (the black V bar with pink crosshatch is a Spyder 'yen').

IMO, it is fun to try and figure out this PA vs PeV matter and the certain reality is that when you do figure it out you will know it because the solution will work all the time. I do not anticipate ending up with a pornographic solution to the problem, i.e., I know what it is when I see it, but I can't define it.

  10. Yoikks!! My son who is strikingly handsome (not from me I assure you) and isn't gay, has a very gay friend and isn't it neat that many of my generation have managed to get by that little bump in the road. Looks like that point 3 arrived and as Jack likes to say, "We have point 3" and now we look for other stuff having sat through the 2 to 3 movement.
