  1. :) It is indeed.

  2. If it was me Id be waiting for sync without a doubt but there also wasnt a traverse established yet.... But also it was mentioned there was a long signal there so I'm assuming if we had no traverse level signal yet we could use a tape level signal to make sure were on the right side of the market from jump. Might have to reverse the first couple bars but it would be worth it to get on the right side of the market for a larger fractal.

But you're right in that the decr volatility on incr volume is tape level so wed be keeping our fingers off the buy button at that point when trading on a traverse level.

  3. So it is Jokari window then....but on what fractal romanus you provided a list a while ago with tape level and traverse level changes is this list accurate or were you making suggestions for verification by others?

This is an attempt to list all ways in which a change can materialize and separate them into two groups: Tape Level and Traverse Level.

    DRAFT Version 1

    Tape Level Change

    1. Increased Volume with Decreased Volatility
    2. IBGS
    3. Outside Bar
    4. Lateral Movement on Increased Volume
    5. Spike Bar
    6. Second Bar of the Pennant on Increased Volume
    7. Price itself (in conjunction with context)
    8. ?

    Traverse Level Change

    1. Jokari Window (Decreasing Volume after Increasing Volume)
    2. Peak Volume
    3. Formation Break Out FBO
    4. VE
    5. FTT
    6. LTL Touch
    7. Formation BO on Increased Volume without more Increased Volume Followed
    8. Point 3
    9. ?

Let's make this a part of the collaborative effort.

  5. Before anyone heads too far off the reservation, this whole discussion focused on the start of the day. Clearly, a subtle difference from any discussion where one attempts to differentiate between fractal changes. After all, one does need to enter at some point in the day. :)

Did you miss Spydertrader posting the 3 main traverse change signals?

I am going to stick with the ones he posted for now... I cant be too concerned with tape level change at this point, too deep for my preference...

There are also some items listed that 'can/may' be change... I like to stick w/ the ones that are change provided they come after a pt3

I want my trades to be somewhere in between the black/red 'fractal' that Jack has crayola'd here

  8. You should continue the bar analysis into the day(7/29). The discussions that reveal traverses and their ends/BO's/fans or whatever may come in a step by step check system are very helpful in my opinion.

  9. Absolutley. Thats what Im tryin to stick too, the three traverse change signals I remember. I mean there are probably more but Id like to get these down first. Also the crayola section is exactly where'd I want to be if trading. Going into more concentrated fractals seems to me like it could turn disastrous for someone like me. I was just saying getting in before sync may require a tape level entry.

Also within that posting he posted that the incr volume with decr volatility is tape level so thats about the only tape level change signal I know thats definite right now
