Don't guess. Know. Thus far, it appears, The beginning Traverse of the day, had a beginning a middle, but no end. As a result, what do you feel the market has signaled you to expect? Again, we are only focused on a single fractal. - Spydertrader
The market signaled us to hold short...no doubt now about that. There was no traverse level FTT to signal change. Expect continuation.
Correct, but more accurately. No signal for change existed to form the FTT on this fractal. However, it is important to note, that the YM did provide a signal for change at 10:26 YM [close of] Bar for those trading on a different fractal. We (in this exercise) only have the ES. - Spydertrader Edit: So yes, to answer your question, the market has signaled to hold short and expect the need to fan the RTL.
Well The B2B between 10:25 and 10:55 is change. Which also appears to create a non-dominant traverse. As I mentioned in my previous post. But given the fact that this also resides inside the Large lateral bar formed from 10:10 means that we should fan the original TL when we see R2R from 11:35 to 12:05. Now we have a channel. But at this point in time I am saying we have had a dom and non-dom traverse which has created our first channel of the day. What I am trying to understand tonight is whether you are calling this 1 single traverse (still dominant) or 2 (dom to non-dom). I just dont get the nomenclature here and/or its application.
Remember, you need the same sequences for both dominant and non-dominant traverses. Keep in mind when a B2B (or R2R) develops. When you 'see' the B2B, have the sequences reached the point where one would expect a B2B? Also, your first traverse had no end, and as such, you cannot yet know if the lateral you see forming represents a retrace of a larger (wider) traverse (remember the signal to 'fan') or as you suggest, a LTR Traverse. We have yet to complete a down traverse as we have yet to have an end. Therefore, we can only be in the process of forming a Traverse still to this point. again, on this fractal only. - Spydertrader
