lol, We continue our journey every day. :)

After debriefing (and a little head banging myself) I would concur with your first selection. But if we operate within the IT channel (orange) then it does not seem inappropriate to consider a hybrid of 2 traverses (pink, green) within an IT channel. Obviously there were many lower fractal traverse within these as well.

  2. Remember, all the traverses must have a beginning and an end (on this specific fractal)** - in addition to the Sequences from Point One to Point Two to Point Three. Remember, the goal of these exercises is to remain on the same fractal throughout the trading day. This does not mean you won't 'see' what looks like a Traverse, but does what looks like a Traverse have all the components of an actual Traverse?

**N.B. Assumes the trader only has the tools available from a Five Minute ES Chart and does not have the ability to obtain signals from YM 2 minute, Str-Squ, DOM or Tic Charts.

Admittedly, I have some work to do here to really nail this thing. So, If I look for sequence completion, I see 2 traverses for the day (pink/green) P.S. Thanks for the chart Romanus!

Yea.. self disclosure. Im just annotating as I see fit. The sequencing bit escapes me. I feel like I know, but Im not sure Im on the same page.

I think it goes back to the questions Spyder posed. What begins a traverse, what ends a traverse? What are all the components of a traverse.? Seems straightforward, and you would think you know based on the ability to annotate them correctly. However, Im gonna ponder it a minute before I answer

Yep, I have just identified my weekend study plan. Cause I do not "Know that I know".... yet :)

Would perhaps some of the necessary components be a dominant tape ftt, non-dominant tape ftt, and finally a dominant tape ftt?

If so then yours is the chart to review :)

    BTW... Welcome to the thread

EDIT: Very nice chart indeed! IMHO

I try to avoid looking for tape ftts, as it seems to lead to jumping fractals no? For sure we need two tapes in one direction, with an opposing, non dominant one. I believe we can also have two same-direction tapes seperated by lateral movement.

Also, we need to confirm that the increasing volume after pt3 does not arise from formation BO.

This is about the extent of my brainstorming. I have a funny feeling this is not what Spyder is hinting at

EDIT : Also wanted to add the signals of change on traverse level. Jokari/Peak volume/formation fbo. These may be what begins and ends traverses
