No need for an apology. Now that you know how the day turns out, why not redo the day's annotations in an effort to 'see' how the market creates tapes, traverses, channels and (today) a super channel. Use Jack's recently posted 'Seven Cases' to get you started. - Spydertrader
Will do.. I will post the results later tonight, also with my answer to Tum's post earlier.. Thanks everyone
one mans litter, is anothers treasure. Thanks again Ehorn. doing these, and comparing them to others Charts has benefited me greatly. If it is bothersome, Maybe post them in âºâº Chit Chat âºâº A forum to save images in Or If someone knows of a site where I can get them EOD, that would be fantastic.
Spyder Ive been moving along on just annotating but i have nit-picky questions that I want to nail down. In my circled area, the neon green pt 3 traverse is NOT a pt 3 traverse obviously from your chart. My rationale in looking into it was it is not a pt 3 traverse because the large OB(bar 7) created a LL than the original pt 1 on my chart (started at bar 2). Thus in terms of sustaining a pt 3 traverse until the close of a complete bar, this is not a pt 3 traverse on the 5 minute chart. Bar 7 is an increased red bar and essentially all in one bar we had a break of tape 2 in the sequence, an FTT, and a BO in the same bar which (although sounding repetitive) means looking at just the 5 min ES we do not have a Pt 3 through end of bar information.
Revised chart I was surprised by the amount of work involved, which likely means I have never really fully annotated a chart. I know there are some spots on this one that arent complete either. Fortunately, I have now accepted the fact that this needs to be done and will be back after my 20 charts are done this way. This exercise proved beneficial, Im not sure specifically how yet, but the wheels are turning Tryin' to turn the brain on.. Thanks Spydertrader
