    This is exactly the problem I have. The royal blue doesn't fit the definition of a traverse.

    Channel / Traverse = Minimum of Three Price Bars with Point One, Point Two & Point Three located on three different Price Bars.

    I can not figure out how this can be the case.

    Spydertrader, thank you for the reference. But it didn't provide clarification. There must be a kind of mental block in my head.:confused:

    Bar 3 had a VE on low volume that indicates possible change. Bar 4 listed as FTT with most of volume going short.

    You already gave the definition of a Channel. Of what can you not figure to be the case? That Channel / Traverse means Channel AND/OR Traverse?

    It is a 'chubby tape'. For all intents and purposes, it is equivalent to a traverse except for the construction of it. Spyder annotates both traverse and chubby tape in the same manner
