Oh yeah, I forgot what you think of yourself, but you reminded me with your post where you quoted yourself. Why would there be on an anonymous internet message board? That would be irrational.

I want to explain my thought process on a stock I traded this morning. On the large circled volume bar.... It started out as heavy red volume and an obvious sign of a BO of the light blue and blue daily channels. During that volume bar, it started to move back up so I switched to the 15 min chart and saw that the volume was showing black which led me to believe it was an intra-bar Guassian shift. By the time it had moved back up to the original light blue/blue lines, I regarded this as an FBO of these RTL's so I reversed my position resulting in a wash trade from my short. Currently it has moved back up to the light yellow and pink RTLs on decreasing black from the IBGS volume bar. I am expecting increased black on the 11:00 bar and a BO of these RTL's Is my assessment correct on this situation or am I off(a lot or a little)? Comments welcome.
Is anyone trading the FDAX? I switched from trading the ES to trading FDAX for three reasons: 1. Better commissions. If you take into account the larger contract size of the FDAX I pay roughly one fifth of the commissions I would pay trading the ES. One FDAX contract equals about four ES contracts. 2. I prefer to trade a contract that's settled in EUR rather then USD. 3. The FDAX is divided into smaller price increments so the Bid/Ask spread is smaller. $19.3(â¬12.50) versus $50 if 1FDAX=4ES.
WHen I will be ready I will be trading that one too. Dax, in my opinion, is Europes YM. Because it's so fluid (ticks), I think it may be leading couple of other indices. Perhaps you may want to use Fdax opposed to Eurostoxx, or Z liffe futures or CAc40...as a leading indicator. Just thinking out loud here, though
These chubby tapes have been drivng me mad - I can't seem to figure out whether to treat them as pt3 channels or single traverses. After the red one this morning I was expecting pt3 up and at some point it was evident (not to me) that it won't come. Was it 1050 close of RTL BO on increased red volume that said: don't wait for pt3 up? Any hints would be greatly appreciated. These chubby tapes - do we treat them as channels for all intents and purposes or is there some underlying logic re: new pt3, that has eluded me so far?
I'm using Z liffe futures on a 2 minute chart as a leading indicator. This works quite well as volume increases tend to translate faster into price movement on the Z.
