Iterative Refinement

  1. Nicely done, callmate!!

For anyone lurking about out there doing 'research' who still thinks all this comes from smoke and mirrors, Callmate has been profitable every month since September 2007.

She worked hard. She drilled thousands of times. She reviewed countless charts. And now, she reaps the rewards of her efforts.

Congrats on your 'best day' so far, Callmate. I expect you'll break this record soon enough. :D

  2. QUOTE]Quote from astral:

    for what it's worth.
    KILLER STEPHEN STILLS SONG

Which is, of course, cool. Look at the subtlety. I've also been monitoring the DOM and especially the T/S, and it makes perfect sense.
    ENLIGHTEN US WITH CHARTS :D

Though I find it odd at turning points, it creates very clear signals. However, I'm still in the calibration process.

It all fits perfect in the picture, especially the OTR chart. The sequences repeat themselves constantly.

THIS IS THE PROBLEM I FOUND WITH THEM, THEY REPEAT THEMSELVES EVEN AT NON TURNING POINTS

(especially pace sequences in combo with Tick formations) I find it very usefull at turning points, which is where we Bank, obviously:)

Lately I have been trading ES EOB(end of bar) using the YM for context at bar close and had the most relaxing and profitable days yet in this journey. It took me over a year to figure this out, Thought I’d share that with you, unlikely, but it may alter your journey. Be careful while your slaloming those turns things don’t go flying by.

  3. Was long CXO today from yesterday. Nice little profit. I also got long TC early in the 11:00am bar when PRV showed increased black volume and a BO of the red channel(30 min chart) imminent. Made a quick 50 cent here and exited at the 12:00 bar as the 11:30 bar showed it couldn't break the brown RTL and then red volume came in. I believed this to be an FBO and was going to wait to see if it made another attempt at the brown RTL but I had to leave at 2:30. Good thing I didn't hold long.

    Commentes welcome.

Thank you for the advise, I'm well aware that they may cause "What wasn't that's", but nonetheless, they are there. We just have to recoignise the difference on context. They are the ones todd calls: "first by accident, then by design". We know they are tricky but we are prepared to the next sequence which may follow:cool:

ps: I tried to upload the chart but somehow.. maybe now it'll work.

Edit: Lmao, look bottom, "lisa lavie", I know lame:mad:

  5. Thank you cnms2! I can be a little slow at times.

Yes, I have that channel on my ES & YM daily and now understand -- for some reason I was not thinking FBO when I read your comment and got very confused.
Some may have fanned out again using the last few days as a np3 however there was no rising black volume until yesterday on the ES.

Thank you -- I really do not enjoy being confused... :D

    Chart so far.

Current situation: seems we just had the mother of all changes.

    Ivo

edit: last blue circle should be red.

  7. I felt like I was monitoring and annotating and the rest of MADA this morning well but the market wasn't cooporating. Very small morning range.

Morning masterpiece attached. My long channel is slighly different than Ivob's cause Of the INC RED Volume that I saw around 10AM Can nOT exist in an upchannel.

In the bigger picture it really is trivial though.

Well, you can certainly have a traverse on increasing red and a breakout and 1-2-3 and increasing black after that. The traverses make the forrest just like the tapes make the traverses.

However I completely understand your point. In my case I widened my original channel. (you could also say a channel currently is missing)

    regards,
    Ivo

  10. ivob,

Your last mother circle and the FTT on the ES and the YM were the most important parts.

Plus no 2 charts will ever be exactly alike. Hopefully though when the trading points are reached those points are seen.
