    Spydertrader,

I've noticed that lately you've seemed to change a little the way you draw your gaussians. There are situations when you integrate with one line the ups and downs of a black / up channel or a red / down channel, while other times you draw them as black or red zig-zag lines. Would you please explain when you do one and when you do the other, for example on your most recently posted chart?

    Thanks.

  2. Before a Point Three, I want the 'V' Gaussian Formation to signify the change, so I 'zig-zag' until the market signals the \ to / at the appropriate time. After the Point Three, unless an actual signal for change results (one which causes an action), then I annotate the Gaussian across the channel (no 'zig-zag').

I am having a difficult time seeing a reason to reverse from long at this instant (13:50 = the end of the 13:45 ES and 13:48 YM bars).

Agreed - one does not expect increasing volume in a pennant but is that a reason to reverse here at this moment?
The ES is starting to BO the RTL of the accelerated short channel. The Previous bar BO the RTL of the long channel on decreasing red volume which became an FTT. WMCN if long is black.
edit: had trouble inserting chart, then forgot to comment that the YM (un-annotated playback charts) also made an FTT, Sym pennant BO and RTL BO.
