    Hi ehorn

I have questions regarding your 07/17/2009 chart:
    a) Is the heavy green trend line a Channel or Traverse?
    b) What ber is the Point 1 of the green trend line? TIA

I will be happy to provide my answer to the questions if you would provide your thoughts for the following chart.

  4. Thank you for posting it - it made me look at my own chart and realize that my original gaussians are all messed up.

P.S. The thoughts in the attached are just opinions of the fellow P/V relationship student and could be wrong, I was wrong before - so it wouldn't be the first time.:D

lol! Collaboration is a great thing. Unfortunately I have a family gathering to attend shortly, but I have posted a few comments/questions to your logic. (Black boxed)

  6. The 'black boxed' logic may appear to be the result of looking at price only:D . Using an assumption that at 15:50 of 7/16 the market has not finished building a 5 min ES level traverse and only arrived at Point Two, the attached is an attempt to correctly identify a traverse using gaussians in addition to trendlines.

    Hi ehorn,

Thank you for providing guides for sequence analysis. Could you kindly give your answer for each of your own question, please? I always have problem to differentiate a Tape from a Traverse.

Do you mind to use Thick-Medium -Skinny lines to present Channel-Traverse-Tape in your chart to help JHM students to comprehend your charts easily? Good trading to you! TIA
