more overlapping sequences. debriefed annotations after 1445.
Probably a good thing I wasnt around. Most likely the lateral after that would have caused grief.

  3. Somehow find it hard to believe that the 5 min ES level traverse sequence was completed EOD. Could be wrong, been wrong before, so it wouldn't be the first time. PFC is inconclusive. Monday will tell.

Not sure why you quoted me.

I have projected dec red to inc blk for Monday. Last night I had dec blk to inc red projected. PFC is not a given for me.

I realize my annotations may be confusing. Gaussian are incorporated in them as well as when I think we have a repeat signal. I have to use other tools for confirmation.

I'm only concerned with tradeable sequences. Isn't sequence complete and sign of change all we are really after?

    Hey traverse,

I can see how you incorporate your gaussians into your trendlines, and agree that sequence completion and SOCs are the critical things we need to recognize.

However, I think that by omitting the three nested fractals and multilevel gaussians, you're potentially depriving yourself of a lot of valuable contextual information... the kind of information that could foster confident prolonged holds, and which may be a prerequisite for later trading with size.

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts. I appreciate it and understand what your saying. I had a hard time grasping all the various components presented.

dom-nondom, peaks-troughs, tapes, multilevel gaussians, differentiating PA, PV, laterals, internals, faster fractal traverse from a regular traverse. ....I understood a large part of it but still had areas of uncertainty and could not differentiate all the critical components involved. Uncertainty in realtime is unproductive.

I had to step back and try to salvage something from all the material presented in the threads. I felt there was much value in the basic foundation of it and am trying to find a way to apply what I do understand.
One day while doing the endless task of practicing taping I changed from a bar chart to a close only line chart. I found this very helpful in seeing where the price containers should lay and how the sequences fit. I believe you need the bar chart to see price move intrabar and many signals come from this, but glancing at a line chart has helped me.

I would find it helpful to see(from the few that post charts) the reatime annotations or notes how they drew something in realtime and changed in debriefing. I think Ehorn had notes on one chart recently stating where he missed something. This would be more helpful than just another reverse engineered chart.

thanks again for taking the time to post

  7. You might try candlesticks, too, since they place more visual emphasis on the close. Adding a 1 period SMA to the bar chart would superimpose the line chart, but would probably be too messy to help...

thanks, been there-done that, I agree the 1 sma can become messy.

    Hi romanus and JHM students

Under what kind of circumstance, a Lateral can be ended using the second bar of a Pennant which closes right on the boundary of Lateral? I have checked several other posters's charts, all of them indicate 14:35(eob) bar closes on the lower boundary. Please see the attatchment. TIA!
