Iterative Refinement

  1. I agree, but this chart was re-annotated post market hours and it was still confusing. In real time I thought the B2B 13:20 to 14:05 necessitated a R2B2B. Very confusing.

I am partial to Neos lateral at 12:00 which gives completion at 14:00 (PT1 at 14:10). If I could just figure out WHY I was looking for another trip around the block. :)

Thanks again for presenting an alternative viewpoint.

Forced me to look closer at how the sequences took shape in the pm session, and I think I had an aha! in the process.

Keep the charts coming... maybe we'll even manage to reinvigorate the thread.

  7. The problem I see with Neos lateral is that he begins it before an existing one ends. But if he has correctly annotated a lateral from 11:25 to 13:50, we still have B2B's in a single up tape (13:15 to 13:50). Does the fact that they reside in this lateral discount the need for them to complete on a traverse level fractal? They complete on an intrabar fractal, but that is not the fractal we trade and expect to see a completed sequence.

    Thoughts welcomed.

    Thoughts...

I started the preceding short sequence (R2R2B2R) one bar late. That entire sequence took place within a tape.

It was followed by another complete intratape sequence (B2B2R2B(VE)2R2B), which formed the final ascent of the slower fractal.
