Actually, when I take a second look at this chart, I think that the blue up traverse isn't a traverse but a forrest channel. It does have all the ingredients to be one. -- innersky
Hey lj, don't quit SCT when you are so near. Just a lil more and you'll make the breakthrough - honest It's only a matter of differentiating your mind. You will regress back into CW thinking if you leave, and we all know what happens there. Please don't elect to not participate with the market or continue learning. A pot of gold awaits you with Jack smiling on your successes. He could tell you in an instant what to do but he wants to support your leaning activities and so he's not allowed to make what to do crystal clear. Anyway, I wish you all the best in your new career.
Hey, why don't you just leave him (Jack) alone? He was trying to help. The trait one definately can not ascribe to you. Enjoy your life as profitable trader. Sometimes I catch myself asking: when profitable traders can be so objectionable, then what should one expect from the unprofitable ones... What is your motto here anyway? Proving that you're creme de la creme in the trading world? Is it where the market kicked your giant ego into? What are you doing on this site? What are you doing in this thread? Perhaps, it is just about the time you let those questions cross your shallow mind...
Aside from giving a bit of banter that might provoke you to ask how successful and robust your approach is, I seem to be the only one who cares about lj. You have nothing to defend. If SCT works then it is hopeless to criticize it as the results shut up all detractors. If however it is a continuous circle, then you will wonder a few lost years from now why you refused to ask where the answer is that would silence the hecklers. Eventually you'll discover that I'm closer to being your true friend than Jack ever was.
Lj is grown-up enough to care for himself. I would suggest you stop humiliating him. You are right, I have nothing to defend. I just can not stomach silly imputations. As far as results are concerned, they are available. What is not available is the willingness of "hecklers"(to use your own wording) to dig them up. Last but not least, if you really want to be or if you are friendly, help the people out. I bet your "next move will be folding"...
Hey dude, no humiliation intended - just a bit of irony hoping that someone would wake up and smell the coffee, and for the record I did state where this would end for lj and you. Right now you think you have the proof. In a while you'll do what lj is doing and move on to try and find what really works. I think that is a real contribution. Here's my challenge to you. If you have to dig up the proof it's not proof. Proof is what you see live, not what you think you have been told. Now do yourself justice, and ask for live evidence of SCT performing anything like Jack says it does. Can you name anyone who presents a method who won't demonstrate it? In time you'll realize the bad guys are the good guys and the ones you thought were helping you were actually holding you back.
Just like I said, "the move is folding". Please don't give that prep school palaver about you knowing what I think. That is silly. Why don't you demonstrate your method ? Why don't you divulge your "precious tricks"? I realized one simple platitude: Those, who can not contribute, object.
Duh! I am not reading your mind, I am reading what you type. You think you have the proof in some form you can dig up. That is Jack's bluff. Sure I'd be glad to trade against Jack and we can compare our abilities live and in the open so you guys can see what works for real. The challenge has been made in public. I'll make a real time live contribution but Jack refuses to knock me back. Look, I'm not trying to knock you. In time you'll join the rest that get fed up chasing Jack's pot of gold at the endless end of the SCT rainbow. Consider me as a friend prodding you to ask for live evidence. Wouldn't it be great to see it live and see Jack thrash me with Seamless Continuous Trading. Even if I thrashed Jack I'd respect him for showing up. I just love the way Jack is defended by guys who can't find a channel line and believe in trading utopia. Please tell Jack I'm dissing SCT and you'd like me put in my place.
Interesting excerpt from "Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain"... One further complication of seeing needs mentioning. The eyes gather visual information by constantly scanning the environment. But visual data from "out there", gathered by sight, is not the end of the story. At least part, and perhaps much of what we see is changed, interpreted, or conceptualized in ways that depend on a person's training, mind-set, and past experiences. We tend to see what we expect to see or what we decide we have seen. This expectation or decision, however, often is not a conscious process. Instead, the brain frequently does the expecting and the deciding, without our conscious awareness, and then alters or rearranges - or even simply disregards - the raw data of vision that hits the retina. Learning perception through drawing seems to change this process and to allow a different, more direct kind of seeing. The brain's editing is somehow put on hold, thereby permitting one to see more fully and perhaps more realistically.
Hi Neoxx, I've personnaly seen the results from people who have taken the class on Drawing on the Right Side of the brain. Dramatic difference in just one week. They see "differently" than before. And, can apply that difference to what they draw. Very cool.... Can we apply that knowledge to drawing on the "right side of the market"????
