Iterative Refinement

Discussion in 'Journals' started by Spydertrader, Jan 3, 2008.

  1. Let me freely admit that this AM's up move has resulted in a bout of head-scratching. Herein lies the benefit of Mr. Black's method of starting the day fresh.

If yesterday's analysis, by a number of people, was correct then how does one rationalize today's chart? This is a question not a quiz.

  7. LJ I was also puzzled for a bit. But once again if you slide the open it was an OB and change. we had our pt2 just before the close. Unfortunately I did not catch this in time to exploit it. Was sitting patiently for a signal to catch the down move to finish ysday.

  8. It has little to do with philosophy and all to do with recognizing and correcting an annotation error.

  9. This is little bit different way to look for volume signals....:)

  10. Best guess and if anyone has something better please shoot this one down.

Yesterday had to be one of those frickin' traverses which became a completed downchannel which makes the pace acceleration at EOD yesterday a true peak volume signal (and not a P2 search signal) then an uptraverse this AM to a new high, a downtraverse ending at 12:05 and another uptraverse.

This ES 5 min stuff is like crack. It can totally screw up your day if you get stuck and that is why it's great to have Mr. Black and WGTrader around to help poor dolts like me make a living while putting the pieces of the puzzle together.
