Right now there appears to be a disconnect in timing between YM and ES with respect to the standard traverse RTL. IMO, YM should lead or at least be close at hand at the time of the cross. Anyone else have any thoughts? lj As I write I see YM leading price south.
Nice trading nkhoi. I agree the turn was in synch. If that RTL that I drew for the downtraverse last night was correct, then the YM 10:02 and ES 10:05 bars can't be P2 for the uptraverse. lj Oops!
just some room im in since you mention YM, I don't have YM on just ES 5m only. http://www.sierrachart.com/userimages/upload_2/1237303417_21_UploadImage.png
Once again showing that you are a better trader than me. YM really helps me figure (or try to figure) WTF is going on. I will continue to work on the Gaussians (5 minES) but sometimes, perhaps even often, I find bringing in the YM can help me to see what the ES is doing with respect to Gaussians and other stuff. As always just MO. lj Yeh I noticed the different charts and thought, 'nkhoi must be flush what with his multiple trading platforms' (ho, ho).
K.I.S.S. principle, knowing where is r2r, b2b is at all time; if 'Y' then WMCN, if 'N' then stay out.
Hey romanus that 15:58 -59 (using 1 min ES for timing purposes) break of yesterday's RTH high with YM (again using the 1 min bar) crossing over on the 15:59-16:00 bar screwed with my 'big picture'. How about you? lj
Well here's what I'm doing with it. Call yesterday a bridging traverse and today began with a new uptraverse for a new upchannel. I don't think we have shown completion yet. Other people may wish to call yesterday a downchannel. Cool. I don't agree but it gets us to the same spot this AM after completion. Some people may want to call to day an upchannel. Cool X2. Again don't agree but again we're at the same place for tomorrow AM. lj
