  5. Market bottoms are easier to spot than tops. Spikes in the VIX/VXO make that obvious.

    Well, if you really want to add a technical qualification to the talking head system on CNBC, just put John Bollinger in one of those corners when the market is tanking. And start buying.

    A bit like Hollywood squares.

    If Elaine Garzarelli is in the center square still babbling on about her '87 call nearly 20 years ago, you're safe to double down.

    And if Cramer is in the top square ready to toss his cookies on her cause his market and his pants are falling under him, then baby, back up the truck and go for it.

    The bottom is in! :cool:
