It rings true

  1. I may be mistaken, but I think it was John Kenneth Galbraith who once wrote that Nothing so gives the illusion of intelligence as personal association with large sums of money.

    It is one of my favorite quotations because it is as insightful as it is funny. Just thought I'd share, as we await the FOMC announcement.

    That is a good quote.

    Perhaps I could add to this: the retort that someone is above reproach/criticism because they make a lot of money.
