Bubbles are bigger than they ever were. Have you heard of the IT industry is rebounding? The fact is they are lying. So many OEMs and big vendors give rebates to each other and to the consumers, as huge as 50%. So 50% of earnings in the their books are actually loan from consumers. Of course many of them never pay back to consumers. Stories in big companies have been told that support staff are given specific instructions to decline customers' inquiry or request on mailing rebates, just find any reason.... If they are not cheating, why aren't they hiring?!!
if your talkin about the mail in rebate I agree! I sent 2 out it's been over a year, I called and they claim I cashed the check (I didnt), but they will research it for the $25 (cost of the rebate)
