We, the GOP, cannot win with stupidity and slogans. No birther, Kenya, Muslim, Wright, and all that crap. Though fun, is hurting our chances of winning. We have to stop the foolish fringe from keeping Obama in office.
Not sure. I agree with you philosophically, but we also have to finally realize how dirty the other side plays. Some of this stuff is useful if handled right and directed at the appropriate audience to get them revved up a bit. Remember, we need all votes that may come our way, smart or stupid, if we don't offend or discourage the rest of the group. McCain kept the higher ground and he was demolished by the far left hooligans. Back-room Chicago politics are not to be taken for granted and they don't play fair, they are the dirtiest imaginable and we better prepare for that. That's one of the reasons I like Romney: regardless of what he says now that everyone is watching and listening, if need be, this man will give the order to fire across the board with every legitimate means available and money will not be an object. He did it in the primaries and now they are all friends again (yeah, right!) After all, you don't get to make $300 million in the shark-finance game if you cannot kill your prey when you have to.
I want him to win too, but I hate the idea that SuperPacs are going to buy him the election. Sure, Obama has the same kind of money at his disposal as well. Would rather there was a limit on spending, and elimination of Super Pacs. I am afraid that Romney may end up like Obama, but we still have to try. Get Obama out.
