It Begins. Holder Announces Plan To Ban Semi-Auto Guns

Discussion in 'Politics' started by AAAintheBeltway, Feb 26, 2009.

  1. So those who actually cannot afford guns and ammo should be fully armed by the government and taxpayer money (each citizen is issued the same semi automatic weapon and enough ammo to get the job done) just to keep the playing field even?

    LOL!

  3. Congratulations, ET!!!

    We've got members who'd belong right on Strormfront.com right here among us!

    We've reached a new low!!!

    Yeah!

    And I'm a solid to the core believer in the right to keep and bear arms for Americans who don't have a felony criminal record (I'd even go so far as to specify a felony having to do with violence, particularly, such as felony assault, armed robbery, etc.)

    (p.s. - this is the kind of stuff that discredits this site more than any, single other thing - it makes stock_trd3r seem reasonable by comparison)

  4. And you're still the moron who was always destined to run on the David Duke political ticket, Pabsty.

    And you'll always be that moron, apparently.

  6. I don't own a gun, nor do I want to own one. However, only a complete moron would think that gun control will deter violent crime. Here's a novel idea for you radical lefties. How's about we enforce the fucking laws we have on the books? Problem solved!

  8. A very reasonable statement and one born out by the facts.

    Personally I don't care what someone chooses to do. They want a gun ? Fine. They choose not to own one, or allow one in their own homes ? Fine, too. That's a free choice, we're Americans & can decide for ourselves.

    The problem exists when others decide that I should make their same choice. The 'justification' is that its for some higher purpose which they determine - - even though simple logic would lead one to conclude that only the law abiding citizen, not criminals, abide by such laws.

    Well, I've wasted enough time and will take the advice of another poster to quit feeding this useless thread. Its obvious that there are those with entirely opposite world views. I have a pretty good idea what side the Founding Fathers would take on this . . . but then again that was 200 years ago and representative democracy by an informed citizenry made up of free men is so obsolete. - -

    Tough , thoughtful questions.

    a] Thats exactly why i have voted for ''doctors'' [lawyers, senators...] on the NRA board of directors.......................

    b]Dont know anyone that thinks our brillant framers were infallible.
    But I do know plenty of gunowners that helped Justice Clarence Thomas [black or brown] get in Supreme court. He is right on the second ammendment also.:cool:

    c] Attractive woman [picture !] with the gun & black walnut colored hair.:cool:
    I do know plenty of gunowners that voted for female Rep 7th district of TN/Marsha Blackburn.She is right on second ammendment also. So there.

    Big problem with some who dislike the second ammendment;
    they dont know much history.

    Dont know if he was a Democrat[perhaps] or a Republican. But Benard Baruch [quail shooter]said vote for the person who promises the least-you will be least disappointed. That's wisdom

    Gun control laws simply promises too much;
    thats why it always disapopoints.
