Removing guns will remove gun crime. Thereby making it easier for law enforcement to do their job. The continued name calling just doesn't work with me, but I doubt that will stop you.
Just curious, triple 7: Given that jails and prisons are now full, when law abiding citizens are criminalized by gun ban legislation, how do you propose the gov deal with the law abiding citizens who refuse to disarm, based on their constitutional right to bear arms. Do you propose force? Massive search and seizure? Or do you prefer the Chavez method of blacklisting (of course you will only find the owners of the arms bought legally at dealerships). If you were prez, how would you disarm the country once you sign the law?
If a person wants to own a shotgun to protect their home, I don't oppose that. Semi automatic and automatic weapons that are easily concealed, people walking the streets with loaded guns... Not a great recipe for national security, especially with darkening economic times. Crime rates are on the rise due to the increasing unemployment... People listen to hate talk radio 8 hours a day and all it does is inflame their emotions, which are usually the root cause of violence. A dog is a much better deterrent and less likely to kill someone by accident, especially a family member or a child.
I didn't expect an answer. Because if door to door searches to find guns ever occur, the lib's deep, dark secrets will also come to light. Everyone will be searched. There would be no other way. If the day comes that searching is the norm, there will be no freedom for anyone, left or right. And they were worried about the Patriot act. Shit, that will be nothing compared to what it will be like if there is an outright ban on guns, like some in this admin would like to see.
Care to elaborate, lib? Oh wait, you live in Canada. I don't give a shit about your opinion, or your skills with grammer.
*sigh* If only those who share your extreme opinions had someone who was not functionally illiterate to present on your behalf...
OK, thanks for the lesson. Care to answer the question? Pretend you live here, if you can get over yourself.
