  1. Pabst speaks in the third person.

    "Pabst stated...."

    "Pabst says...."

    "Pabst could..."

    ROTFLMAO...

Quite a large number of African American uneducated athletes speak in the third person...I think Paris Hilton does too...

  2. Europe has had a massive influx of third world immigration and "gentlemanly police" does not cut it anymore. In the UK, it was long a custom that police officers in those weird hats(I am not talking about Buckingham palace guards) did not have a visible gun. Now demagogues think it justifies US gun laws seeing that certain crime is on the upswing in Europe. Quite the opposite. Standard of living was and always will be a major factor in the determination of the crime rate. If you have a massive influx of hopelessly poor people who don't integrate well the end result is crime. If you give people guns that crime will be even higher.

Effectiveness of the police force is a significant determinant of crime rate.

Like I said before, UK has a knife problem, but dying due to a gun shot is a lot less likely than in the US.

  3. I have no doubt that you feel very threatened by all those 'inbreds' out there as you put it.

Undoubtedly, you are bombarded by reports of the crime in Orlando and in FL. But you make my point - - - it Does come down to the difference in demographics - NOT - gun laws. There is no correlation between gun laws and the incidence of violent crime. This is the basis for the argument made by those who support the rights of law abiding citizens. You see, the violent crime rate in FL is due to the activities associated with the illegal drug trade. And though 'gangsta' criminals can't legally carry firearms - they don't bother following the law.

    http://www.orlandosentinel.com/news/custom/data/orl-homicidemap-main,0,4865031.htmlpage

Illegal drugs are prohibited and have been combated for decades - - and how well has that worked out ? Criminals are prohibted from getting guns now . . . and how well has that worked out ? Only the law-abiding follow the law.
I suppose you could have an absolute lock-down police state with soldiers in the streets . . . maybe that would do it. Then again, who would want to live in such a place ? If that sounds like a paradise to you, then I guess we have nothing more to talk about. Our world views are completely opposed to one another.

    * As an aside, you might want to check out the FBI crime statistics figures for violent crime and murder in Orlando. They show that the reported number of both of these actually went down from 2007 to 2008. I don't know - - this seems very curious. Bogus FBI stats ? Bogus newspaper stats ? How were the numbers derived ? The FBI stats can be found on their website.

  4. "Gangsta's" would never have guns in such large numbers if US did not crank them out at a record pace. That is what you don't get. The original premise "criminals will always have guns" is a lie.

Criminals are not born equal. If you have major crime families then they (at a great risk to themselves) may procure guns. Some dope dealing kiddie won't. It is not rocket science. Guns are not dope. They can't be grown in your basement. Whereas struggle against marijuana is essentially unwinnable, control of the supply of guns can be accomplished.

  5. lol you actually believe that . . . the party line. Amazing.

All those criminals are going to turn over what they have when all the rest of the citizens guns are taken off the street ? All the millions of arms from through out the world are going to stay off Americas streets . . . once they are outlawed in the U.S. Guess we'll get to relive the 1930s in other ways - - prohibition of guns will likely create a wonderful monopoly for those who import them illegally to criminals.
And the criminals will be happy to hear that all the civilians are completely defenseless. Now they don't have to just concentrate on shooting each other like now.

When it comes down to it . . . just stay away from illegal drugs and the low lifes that deal with them and your odds of being victimized in Orlando become nil.

Well, its been real. Unfortunately, I can no longer waste any more time on this. I've been procrastinating long enough about putting the rest of my paperwork together for my accountant so I can find out the damage on taxes. (The thing I most hate doing). Keep safe down there in FL, odds are you'll be just fine.

  6. Go ahead and confiscate firearms from the peasants.

Basement machine shops will spring up everywhere making millions of firearms. No liability insurance necessary so they will be nice and cheap, plus machine shops won't be discovered like when meth labs blow up, much greater secrecy.

  8. Reading comprehension comes hard to some people. In my previous posts I explicitly stated that because number of guns in the US exceeds US population and because of decades of lax rules, implementing effective gun control in the US is extremely problematic.

What I am saying is that if guns were never available as easily as cigarette packs and if their production was strictly controlled From the beginning US would be a lot less violent of a society now.

Decline in US living standards is inevitable and proof is in the pudding. Give it 20-30-50 yrs and most cities in the US will look like the worst streets of LA (Btw, LA has a severe gang problem)

  9. Even as you back peddle you're living in unsupported by fact fantasy land. Gang killings have been crashing lower in numbers for over a decade. Los Angeles County had one third the number of murders last year then in the mid 90's zenith of it's Crips vs. Bloods days.

Of course being the irony proof dullard you seem to be you can't even connect these dots: In L.A. the largest criminal class is now illegal immigrants. So I guess you suppose those whose very existence in America violates Federal law are a bet to obey firearms prohibition. I'd make a pretty strong argument that an AMERICAN CITIZEN living in L.A. should be on legal gun footing with ALIENS. Gee guys bring drugs across the border but Lord knows they wouldn't dream of smuggling in guns......
