I am hearing that Ron Paul will have his name on the nominating ballot at the GOP convention. Is this correct?
If I understand Republican rules correctly, you must have a plurality of delegates in at least five states to appear on the ballot at the convention. That would probably rule Paul out. And frankly, even though I like the man, it's a good thing that he exit the stage of national politics. He doesn't play the game of politics and campaigning at a level to make him a serious candidate, despite have the opportunity to do well in the last two elections. He didn't take it seriously, so alas, I can't take him seriously as a candidate.
Last I Read he was trying to win NB so he could get a 15 min speaking slot at the convention but he didn't get it
