Just my suspicion, no one wants to destroy Israel. These frequent media references to destroying Israel, they all come from Israel. They are trumped up accusations as an excuse to attack me thinks. Ok, maybe some obscure idiot said oh we want to destroy Israel, but then Israel grabbed it and magnified it as a pretext for warfare. Arabs are imo hotheads, too emotional, so they are constantly blabbering bs. But I doubt anyone wants to destroy israel, imo, most Arabs just want to live in peace. Anyhow, that's my suspicion, no proof. If anyone wants to REALLY destroy anyone, it's Israel imo. So Israel goes crying to America, "Everyone wants to destroy us!" America: "Oh these Godly Jews, nasty Satan people want to kill them, we believe everything Israel says, ok boyz, we'll give Israel as many bombs as they want". Israel: "LMFAO!"
Hezbollah, founded 40 years ago is not a country and it is not a ruling political party, it is a Shia Islamist religious political party in Syria with 12% of seats in parliament. People give them too much credit I think to destroy Israel. It's a designated terrorist organisation with perhaps 100,000 fighters.
Remember, Israel is the shit stirrer. They have been at war with: Syria, Egypt, Iraq, Iran, Jordan, Saudi, Yemen, Kuwait, Soviet Union, Palestine, Algeria, Morocco, Lebanon. They are very adept at bleeding dry taxpayer money from America and influencing politics.
Some times I wonder whether it's actually America who is the shit stirrer. You know, sweet angelic Godly Christian innocent democratic America.
From the same source: It (Hezbollah) listed the Ayatollah Khomeini as the leader whose "orders we obey"; called on Christians to "open your hearts to our call" and "embrace Islam" and noted that "Allah has ... made it intolerable for Muslims to participate in ... a regime which is not predicated upon ... the Sharia"; explained that Israel is "the vanguard of the United States in our Islamic world".[8] There is no ambiguity in the wording, except for those who don't want to see. You can be a Hezbollah supporter, but at least have the courage of your opinions or beliefs, instead of always disparaging Israel or the West. You're sounding a lot like them.
No, it's not about being a Hezbollah supporter, it's about not being a naive western sheeple who only see that America and Israel are goody goods.
You made the assertion that Hezbollah is probably not as bad as the West makes them to be, that all they want is to live in peace and don't care about Israel. I provided sources to dispell your myths and show Hezbollah's idealistic bend. But that doesn't fit your narrative of the peaceful Muslim victimized by the West in general and Israel in particular. Sorry. I've been very clear about what I think of the right wing Israeli settlers bullying Palestinians into giving up their land. The world community should be focusing on them, not on trying to make Hamas a victim of Israel.
