This is probably the most accurate analysis of what Israel is doing, albeit rushed and rosy. But yes, Israel seems to have taken a systematic approach to their Iranian issue. They seem to be prioritizing their threats by geographical proximity. Meaning Hamas then Hezbollah and one can assume Iran is next. The problem Israel faces is that while Hamas may be wounded, they still exist. And their existence continues to be a threat that will take up resources to subdue. Then the same for Hezbollah, rinse, wash repeat. Actively engaging two fronts will stretch Israeli capabilities before they even make a real push on Iran. This is where it gets risky for us, America.
Let's be clear, the ONLY reason Hamas and Hezbollah exist is because of Iranian funding, of military equipment and soldier pay. I bet a full 25% of those "fighting" for the cause are doing it for the money, in countries where jobs are hard to come by. Iran's wealth is almost entirely from the sale of oil and weapons. Cutting Iranian oil revenue for 6 months will definitely impact Hezbollah. Taking a step back, Israel is only asserting its right to exist in peace with its neighbors, short of which they will be ruthless, as they have shown. Hamas did something so outrageous on October 7th 2023 that today they're just about wiped out of Gaza and with them 10s of thousands of unarmed Palestinians and Gaza itself. Hezbollah is a far better organized private army but they too failed to heed to Israel's multiple warnings. Their arrogance knew no limit? Now their leadership is all dead, Allahu Akar. Israel knows to get to Hezbollah they must cut off Iranian funding and they're about to do that soon. The elephant in the room is Sunni Islam, the regional powers staying very quiet and grateful that Israel is doing what they can't do openly. Iran is a massive thorn in their ass, neither Sunni nor Arabs, but Muslim solidarity against Israel prevents them from giving support overtly. Netanyahu is a right wing prick who dreamt of this, including those on his right in his government. They too deserve their day in hell, for they are also responsible for much of Palestinian hatred because of their land grab and murders of poor land owners. The people of the world should revolt against these fanatics, instead of showing support for Hamas or Hezbollah who too deserve their day in hell.
Israel is attacking Gaza..nothing is called Palestine so that is why I am asking you to clarify. There is Gaza, Golan Heights, West Bank.... none of it is "Palestine".
Keep in mind that a number of the "militants" being eliminated in Lebanon are actually Iranian Quds military. Iran's Quds Force chief out of contact since Beirut strikes, two Iranian officials say https://www.reuters.com/world/middl...rut-strikes-two-iranian-officials-2024-10-06/ Iran's Quds Force commander Esmail Qaani, who travelled to Lebanon after the killing last month of Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah in an Israeli airstrike, has not been heard from since strikes on Beirut late last week, two senior Iranian security officials told Reuters. One of the officials said Qaani was in Beirut's southern suburbs, known as the Dahiyeh, during a strike that was reported to have targeted senior Hezbollah official Hashem Safieddine but the official said he was not meeting Safieddine. The official said Iran and Hezbollah had not been able to contact Qaani since then. Israel has been hitting multiple targets in Dahiyeh as it pursues a campaign against Iran-backed Lebanese group Hezbollah. The second official also said Qaani had travelled to Lebanon after the killing of Nasrallah and the Iranian authorities had not been able to contact him since the strike against Safieddine, who was widely expected to be the next Hezbollah chief. Hezbollah has made no comment so far on Safieddine. Asked about reports that Qaani may have been killed in an Israeli strike in Beirut, Israeli military spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Nadav Shoshani said the results of the strikes were still being assessed. He said that Israel had conducted an attack late last week against Hezbollah's intelligence headquarters in Beirut. "When we have more specific results from that strike, we will share it. There's a lot of questions about who was there and who was not," he told a briefing with reporters. The Quds Force, the overseas arm of Iran's Revolutionary Guards, oversees dealings with militias allied with Tehran across the Middle East, such as Hezbollah. Iranian Revolutionary Guards commander Brigadier General Abbas Nilforoushan was killed with Nasrallah in his bunker when it was hit on Sept. 27 by Israeli bombs.
Just remember this is the Iranian general who promised to create mountains of dead Americans. Every decent American should be loudly applauding the elimination of this terrorist. Iranian general who vowed to ‘see dead bodies of Americans all over the Middle East’ possibly killed in Israeli airstrike https://nypost.com/2024/10/06/world...l-qaani-possibly-killed-in-israeli-airstrike/
While I'm decidedly pro Israel when it comes to their right to exist and to defend themselves as they see fit from outside threats I'm also repulsed by the methods used by the religious right to weasel territorial expansion to biblical history. They are doing more harm to Israel than Hamas is. Similarly, I have the same disdain for the Ayatollahs of Iran whose dark ages expansionist Shia religious fanaticism is using the destruction of Israel as their goal and the goal pushed on all Muslims. Nonetheless, Persian culture is an anchor of human civilization with many scientific discoveries, artistic developments and socio political sophistication. Sadly, today's Persian people are under a religious dictatorship that they can't overthrow without outside support.
The number 2 became the number 1 then eliminated as number 1. In other news, Hezbollah is a promotion rich environment. Israel says senior Hezbollah official probably dead https://www.reuters.com/world/middl...rsary-fears-grow-over-middle-east-2024-10-07/ Israel's defence minister said on Tuesday it appeared the replacement for slain Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah had been "eliminated", in what would be another big blow for the Iran-backed group in Lebanon. Defence Minister Yoav Gallant made the announcement about Hashem Safieddine as Israel began ground operations in southwest Lebanon, expanding its incursions to a new zone, and as Hezbollah left the door open to a negotiated ceasefire. Safieddine, a top Hezbollah official, was widely expected to succeed Nasrallah. Safieddine has not been heard from publicly since an Israeli airstrike late last week. "Hezbollah is an organization without a head. Nasrallah was eliminated, his replacement was probably also eliminated," Gallant told officers at the Israeli military's northern command centre, in a brief video segment distributed by the military. "There's no one to make decisions, no one to act," he said, without providing further details. Like Nasrallah, Safieddine is a cleric who wears a black turban denoting descent from Islam's Prophet Mohammed. His physical resemblance to Nasrallah, who led the Lebanese Shi'ite group for more than three decades, has also marked him as a favourite for the succession. Safieddine was not attending the meeting in Beirut's southern suburbs on the evening of Sept. 27 that Israel attacked with an air strike, killing Nasrallah. But he has been a prime target for Israel, nurtured as an influential leader and potential heir. As head of Hezbollah's executive council, he has overseen the group's political affairs, while also sitting on the Jihad Council, which manages its military operations. (More at above url)
A direct message to Lebanon -- either they can clean up the terrorist problem or Israel will do it for them. Netanyahu confirms Nasrallah's replacement dead: ‘Thousands of terrorists’ killed Hezbollah terror chief was assassinated in September; both potential replacements reportedly now dead https://www.foxnews.com/world/netan...-replacement-dead-thousands-terrorists-killed
If Israel pl ans to invade Southern Lebanon, all bets are off.... no way Syria/Iran/Russia sit this one out and Israel cannot keep this up as they lost a long time ago on the public stage. The fact that all the media talks about deaths in gaza yet barely a peep for the 1400 innocents killed shows you they lost the PR battle. A lot of people already hated Jews and since they are too stupid to separate Israel from Jews, another military action in an Arab part of another country will doom Israel.
