%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% High probability there are lots of traders;even with a Wallstreet Journal article about a huge amount of government rules. I still like to visit via computer a big bank in Israel-----''lemitrade.com'' Don't know lots of Hebrew. They are bilingual, excellant stock news,200 day automatic moving average on charts. ====== Nitro quote '' Excellant entries long or short.....''
one had better be careful in using the BankLeumi site if you are a US citizen Please read before using LeumiTrade. "2. ATTENTION: The services offered through this site are not available in the U.S. or to U.S. Persons, as defined in Regulation S under the U.S. Securities Act. "
I asked Interactive Brokers about trading from Israel. Customer service said you can and they have customers there.
***************************** SethArb; Good points which concern entering trades. As the lawyers say ''for educational purposes only'';besides they hardly ever have technical troubles[Bank owned website]. Plus they are one of the few fair news reporting services to Israel.
"I asked Interactive Brokers about trading from Israel. Customer service said you can and they have customers there." AS a US citizen you can trade on the US version of the TWS software from anywhere with an internet connection ok ... maybe not from Iraq
We have traders in Israel, and an "area manager" of sorts....if you have an interest, send me an email directly: don@stocktrading.com Don
I have been trading from my home here in Israel for over a year.Have a fast connection and very good commissions. If anyone has any questions feel free to ask.
I also live in Israel and trade from home. I don't think it's any different from trading in the U.S. I have an account with a U.S. brokerage and a DSL line. No special regulations that I know of. I know several other traders here as well, some trading from their homes, some from a trading room in Jerusalem.
Shalom Sababa... I have a good friend who trades from Ramat Gan, and he recently told me that he has an acquaintance who trades from Givataim ... anyone near those two places?
I have a potential client in Israel and he told me that a DSL line is over $500 per month. He also told me that there are only a couple of carriers and they are not that good. Do you trade the US makrets via your DSL from Israel and what is the name of your DSL Provider? I was told that the connection to the States is terrible. Any comments would be helpful! Riskless
