Absolutely right about ethanol. I think the important message is that the U.S. will make ethanol *regardless* of the inefficiency because it is feasible and represents a way to distribute energy intended for transportation utilizing the existing gasoline distribution system. The U.S. will do it because it will work despite the physics and despite the moral implications. We have to get to work and its a big place. We aren't going to migrate back to the cities, we are going to use our national resources to ensure our lifestyles. So, South Korea doesn't have to worry about U.S. beef imports for long. Some day they won't be able to get any. Anyway, I'm hoping the U.S. can keep Israel on its chain this summer. I doubt Israel would do anything unless they were under real threat. Its one thing to enrich fuel, quite another to produce a fissile weapon. Its one thing to produce a fissile weapon, quite another to put it on a ballistic missile. Israel usually gets their intelligence correct so hopefully they won't attack unless there is some imminent threat.
Sorry, no cigar. You didn't mention countermeasures until after my post. So, enlisted I'm guessing. My turn. LOL. Oh, and thank you for your service.
Are you fucking stupid? Seriously? (In retort to your quip...I am guessing you weren't even able to pass the ASVAB in the first place.) to which I said: This implies that we do have defense against the missiles. Do you know what the fuck a countermeasure is? Try this: http://freethesaurus.net/s.php?q=countermeasure Defense=Countermeasure. It means the same thing. Are you really basing your argument on semantics? Do you have a fever? Do you feel faint? Jesus Christ. I think you may need to go for a walk. Stop staring at the screen so hard. Something.
Interesting discussion. I'll weigh more credibility to folks who understand the intricacies of Maxwell's Equations.
No need to get your panties in a bunch. You were trying to argue an Aegis system. Wrong. The countermeasures you're trying to argue now (after I graciously posted it for you) are not definitive. If the USN has a workable defense it would have "leaked" the info. It has not. LOL at you. Again. So sad.
Nope. First thing I said on the thread was........ RAM/CIWS. You started saying dumb shit about variants, etc. over something you read on google or some shit. I mentioned Aegis...but that was not my argument, you went off on a tangent from there... Trust me, go see a CIWS in action and tell me if you think it's a defense (also known as a countermeasure for those of us with comprehension problems) or not. P.S. I think the fact our Navy is over there in their backyard is enough "leaking" that we have a viable defense for their missiles. Not to mention, worst case, deploy a few SEAL Teams over for incursion and *poof* no more Iranian Missiles. You saw what they did to those Iraqi oil rigs in 03. It's not sad to me that you are so ignorant, it is scary...because you may be driving the same roads as me or my family members.
The RAM is 1992 technology. My excerpt was from 1996. You have yet to prove any point what so ever. Wait. Maybe the USN is just omnipotent and can never be defeated. Except by Exocets. Made by the French no less. That must really get your hackles up. Duh. One more time. LOL.
LOL you're a clown. Don't even know what else to say besides that. P.S. The US Navy will never be defeated. For the record.
Yeah. When arguments fail always resort to name calling. No, you're a clown. And LOL at you, clown. How's that? I'm using your approach.
Nah I just don't even know what else to say. You are totally wrapped up in semantics and tangents. I am bored and would really like to go to fisticuffs with you right now. Like for real fight, not just have a cut-n-paste from wikipedia argument. I'm sure the feeling will pass once I go get some food, but right now I think it would be a fun way to pass time. Oh well, carry on smartly. EDIT: To clarify, the above is not my argument to you. Just a statement.
