  1. For the record I support N Korean having nuclear weapons, just pointing out it happened under Bush.

Guarantee you Trump nor any other US President will preemptively bomb N Korea.

Looks like everyone gets what they want somewhat. President Trump gets to continue claiming the big beautiful bombing by 125 planes costing US taxpayers $100 million atleast. Will claim he is the greatest leader ever. Israel will claim that since, the bombing they inflicted huge losses and set back Iranian nuclear ambitions a good 2 years. Ayatollah Ali Khamenei can say he weathered the huge American bombing run and on top of that, Iranian laboratories to produce a nuclear missile still there. With this Israeli and US attacks, it only hastens the timeline for Iran to produce a nuclear missile. And this time, Israeli and the US do not know where they are hiding it. Iran does not have to sign any agreement on inspections. Nobody can force them too and they still have the Straight of Hormuz card if they ever need it. Iran is the biggest winner here and I have no doubt, Russia and China see it is in their best interest to help Iran now get their nuclear missiles. Israel has nuclear missiles too so, it will put both Iran and Israel on the mutual destruction deterrent because nobody will make the mistake of launching a preemptive strike because there would not be a 2nd chance and there would be no winners.

  3. In a roundabout demented kind of way I think that Trump being prepared to go off the rails angry if Israel and/or Iran violate any ceasefire expectations is a very good thing.

The reason being that you don't have to be a rocket surgeon to know that there is a message for Putin in the Iran scenario. Putin is 100% pre-wired and pre-prepared to game whatever ceasefire arrangement is reached with Russia and Trump is pre-wired to lean toward Russia BUT as I have said at least ten times, the thing that Putin needs to watch out for is thinking he can humiliate Trump ie. Trump crows about being able to end something, then Putin just games him and makes him look like his bitch.

So I don't mind seeing some discipline and consequences in the process if Israel does not wind it down- unless clearly attacked- because it increases my somewhat jaundiced hope that he will do the same for Putin, even though Trump is kissy-faced with him.

  4. Hegseth and Trump having to defend against leaked statements from Defense Dept insiders claiming the strikes only set Iran back a couple months.

This tells Trump and Hegseth that they still have a deep state problem.

Regardless of whether they are right or wrong, that, my friends, constitutes leaked intel information which justifies investigations, including wiretapping of journalists where there is a reasonable basis to conclude that they were on the receiving end of information.

MTG suggests a link between JFK’s assassination and his opposition to Israel’s ‘nuclear program’
In a social media post on Tuesday, the Georgia representative said a ‘great’ president who opposed Israel’s nuclear program was assassinated.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) on Tuesday appeared to suggest in a post on X that former President John F. Kennedy was assassinated over his opposition to Israel’s nuclear program.

“There was once a great President that the American people loved. He opposed Israel’s nuclear program. And then he was assassinated,” Greene posted on X as she defended her dissatisfaction with President Donald Trump’s weekend strike on Iran. Greene’s office did not immediately respond to a request for comment asking for clarity on the remarks.

In the early 1960s, Kennedy was an ardent opponent of Israel’s nuclear program, worried it was a serious proliferation risk, according to declassified documents published in 2016 by the National Security Archive. At the time, Kennedy insisted that Israel permit periodic inspections to mitigate the danger. Israel has remained ambiguous about whether it has a nuclear program.

Wild conspiracy theories have proliferated in the years since Kennedy was assassinated in 1963, but both the FBI and the Warren Commission, a presidential commission set up to probe Kennedy’s killing, found that Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone in the murder.

Greene posted her claims in response to conservative commentator Mark Levin, who on X called the Georgia representative “stupid” and told her to “keep banging your head against the wall” over her objections to the Trump administration’s weekend strikes on three Iranian nuclear sites.

“I’m not going away. You’re on my radar,” Levin said.

“This is extremely sick and disturbing,” Greene said in her post before accusing Levin of using the same tone and language as the “psychopaths” that send her death threats “every single day.”

She continued on to discuss Jesus and his teachings, including to “pray for your enemies.”

“I will do my best to pray for you. But I will be watchful now,” Greene said before launching into the Kennedy section. “I am for peace. I oppose war including wars Israel wages. Should I feel that my life is in danger now too? What about President Trump who strongly rebuked Israel this morning for continuing to attack Iran?”

A representative for Levin did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

It is not the first conspiracy theory related to Jews or Israel that Greene has espoused. In 2018, Greene promoted a conspiracy theory on Facebook where she speculated California wildfires could have been caused by lasers shot from space generators funded by the Rothschild investment group. The comments were condemned by Jewish groups as antisemitic.
