It seems it will be a one-way conversation since she has a long list of begging items to cover with Lula, based on this visit the perception that people will have is that Brazil is the superpower and the US is the emerging country. Items on Hillaryâs begging list: 1) She will try to ask Brazilâs support in regard to UN sanctions against Iran. (I believe that deal already has been made between the French government and the Brazilian government) 3) She also will ask president Lula for help regarding Venezuela, Bolivia, and Cuba. (Brazil has good relations with these countries) 4) Brazil got the right from the WTO to retaliate against the United States to the tune of about $ 1 billion dollars â because of unfair US trade practices and farm subsidies to American farmers. Since the Brazilian government is announcing next Monday the list of US products that Brazil will have the right to retaliate against â Hillary might have some special requests to Lula on behalf of her government. Note: I am surprised that she does not have on her list a request for money to help the United States with the Wall Street banking bailout.
