Base rate fallacy...lol. you really are a moron. My statements cuts right through that strawman / detritus... when I explained to you that those with healthy immune systems are bolstering the good results for the vaccinated. you dope. as I said.. "At some point... you have to accept that most of the remaining success is due to the fact many vaccinated started with healthy immune systems."
You are aware that those without healthy immune systems are the ones most likely to volunteer to be vaccinated. The holdouts from vaccination are the ones claiming that they are perfectly healthy and their immune system will protect them. Some of the claims you make are laughable.
No. The vaccinated population is older than the unvaccinated population. Additionally, the eldest are also the sickest cohort. The findings from LA showed the median age of unvaccinated patients in the hospital was 49, while 64 for the vaccinated. Additionally, for every 1 vaccinated person in the hospital there were 29 unvaccinated persons hospitalized. You can’t run away from those numbers.
no.. no what? You are not trying to claim the vaccines are not losing efficacy... as we speak? Especially for the high risk? a. all that may have been true a few weeks ago... and of course the high risk are older as they go for the vaccine more than healthy young people. b. the vaccines are losing efficiency rapidly so it would be nice if you had new data. c. If we really were getting good data. a . We would see high risk and low risk broken out. b. We would see a chart of the high risk showing percent infected and percent admitted to vs the they were fully vacinated. In other works what is the percentage of infected and percent ICU of the high risk... 3 months out from fully vaxxed 4 months out 6,7 8 months etc. It would be nice if we actually saw the graphs.
For Israel - it all is available - Data Tracker https://www.gov.il/en/departments/guides/information-corona Top level English website https://govextra.gov.il/ministry-of-health/corona/corona-virus-en/ Down to contact tracing information https://coronaupdates.health.gov.il/corona-updates/grid/place
thank you for the links... I clicked around but did not see the high risk vs low risk broken out. have you seen it?
Israel has been a popular destination for the Covidiots to use its Vaccination Statistics for misinformation. Covidiot said vaccines don't work and he/she does not understand Simpson's Paradox: Covidiot becomes a little confused about Israel Statistics: Covidiots scatter and run away to find another country for their misinformation: Covidiots now scratching their head but will still focus on the first chart above for their misinformation campaign: https://www.covid-datascience.com/p...strong-when-60-of-hospitalized-are-vaccinated https://datadashboard.health.gov.il/COVID-19/general Another Covidiot shows up to say prove it to me...show me the data. After being shown the data, he/she moves on to another Covidiot topic. P.S. The above charts...reposted for the 5th time but in different conversations about vaccines but not about Israel. Data from Israel Covid Dashboard. Also, the Covidiots should review Base Rate Fallacy because it give them additional insight about what happens to countries with high vaccination rates. P.S.S. There are charts of Israel Covid Hospitalizations that compare those Vaccinated versus those Not Vaccinated. Let's put it this way, those Not Vaccinated are greatly at risk of a Covid Hospitalization in comparison to those that are Vaccinated. wrbtrader
Further information in articles Health Ministry: Fewer serious cases among vaccinated with health risks than unvaxxed with no comorbidity 25 July 2021 https://www.timesofisrael.com/liveb...alth-risks-than-unvaxxed-with-no-comorbidity/ The Health Ministry releases figures from the first 6 months of the year indicating people with preexisting medical conditions who are vaccinated against COVID-19 are better protected against serious morbidity than their unvaccinated peers who have no existing health risks. The ministry relied on data from two age groups — Israelis age 40-49 and 70-79 — to compare rates of serious morbidity. The statistics show a lower percentage of serious cases among the vaccinated with preexisting conditions compared to people in the same age bracket who are unvaccinated, regardless of any comorbidity. Israeli doctors find severe COVID-19 breakthrough cases mostly in older, sicker patients https://www.reuters.com/world/middl...through-cases-mostly-older-sicker-2021-08-20/ August 20, 2021
So that first article would be useful... but it came before the rapid change in efficacy we saw in the last 30 days. But... that is the idea... I will call this Vaccine Alpha (TM). The idea is that we will compare vaccinated vs non vaxxed by high risk and low risk and age. We will also look at the rate of change for Vaccine Alpha. As we know that vaccine efficacy deteriorates over time with these initial vaccines. . 2. Of course severe breakthrough cases are in older sicker patients. younger healthier patients hopefully still have healthy immune systems.
