Israel's economy is quite strong and it's at the forefront in many technologies including medical, desert agriculture, and even AI. For a country that's constantly at war and being bombed, it's doing amazingly well for itself.
Don't worry once robotics arrives, there will be no need to source from anyone. The high debt is a big problem and that's stemming from ineffective and inefficient military expenditures. It was a gamble and it didn't work out which is a shame. Oh well, you win some you lose some, you can't win every single war.
The original story was from Jerusalem Post 2 days ago. https://www.jpost.com/business-and-innovation/banking-and-finance/article-704813 Israel The news media with its obsession with Jews and Israel are johnnie come lately with the story, Bottom line is that any country which has the currency reserves should be diversifying from the $US. There are myriad reasons to be concerned about the future value of the $US. That subject deserves a thread of its own
It helps when you get the best weapons for free. it also helps when you commit war crimes and steal land from peoples who already had it and the world support it. World politics: The US taxpayer gives israel fighter jets and israel gives its taxpayers free healthcare. And it’s illegal for teachers in New York to question this!
Bah! US, for once will be able to dump its exports cheap everywhere in the world. China will get a taste of what is it like to be dumped at, for once.
what exports? The US “dumps” Hollywood movies, Boeing 787’s, and cloud based software. It’s almost all monopoly pricing. the US also “dumps” bombs but mostly we drop those or give them away to ungrateful countries. meanwhile we import so much daily use stuff that we won’t be able to source locally for a generation.
It's coming... Since Biden's first day in office, fucking over every Canadian with his bullshit. The US should really think about cutting off the hand that feeds them too... Keystone is one example of many. From Canada, I am happy to give your latest president our appreciation for what he's been doing to us:
Justin Trudeau is quite possibly the dumbest Prime Minister in the history of Canada, dumb like a fox.
Well with US dollar going down now, US will be more competitive in its exports, compared to before. And the imports will appear to be more expensive with everybody adopting Chinese RMB so very soon we will be able to source locally again. I am already seeing more and more "Made in America" labels popping up everywhere. There is a silver lining in everything.
