Today the wind has blown in Israel's favor, but I'd seriously warn against overconfidence right now. Israel's ground offensive into Gaza hasn't even begun yet, and when it does the IDF will sustain heavy casualties as they do everything in their power to minimize Pali civilian casualties. Worse yet, is the storm about to hit Israel's northern front. Iranian proxy Hezbollah has been diligently preparing over the past 2 1/2 years for the coming rematch, and it's all set to explode in the next couple weeks. It's about to get very bad, very soon.
Overconfidence? While Olmert is still in charge? LOL, you don't have to worry about that. It's probably a great time for Israel to take out all their enemies including Hezbollah and Iran in one blitzkrieg-like operation. That's just too bad that Olmert does not inspire confidence, let alone overconfidence. Recently the world saw $147 per barrel of oil prices which way over filled the treasuries of the Saudi, Kuwait and even Iraq. So why not send some extra billions to Gaza for basic amenities of the Palestine people, who are suffering supposedly under the Israeli policies.
