Congratulations to this board for a good source of information. I have been reading it for a few months, and registered finally this morning. My background: I am a small trader who has been active for about 8 years trading my own account with TD Waterhouse. I was a futures broker in the mid 1980's for a short while. I opened an account with IB in February, and really like it, even though I have much to learn. My object right now, is to keep my losses at a minimum, and try to "stay in the game". Here is my first question, with many more to come I am sure. Please allow me a little lattitude. Island states their trading hours start at 7:00 am EST. IB says their hours start at 8:00 EST. Is this correct? I wish IB could change their hours to match Island's.
