Island execution

  1. I have a question about the Island time and sales tool available on their website. let's say that a trade is marked as

    B 500 80.00

does that necessarily mean that 500 shares were up for sale at 80 ON THE BOOK, and then a buyer came in and grabbed them, or.........?

I am asking this because I remember once buying shares through the Island book but my trade was marked as

    S 100 50.00

in that particular trade, it looks like the 100 shares were offered but were HIDDEN. does that influence the way the trade is marked?

    thanks
