Boko Haram Jihadis Burn Children Alive, Slay Over 100 Villagers in Nigeria Massacre by THOMAS D. WILLIAMS, PH.D.31 Jan 2016608 In one of their most heinous massacres to date, militants from the radical Islamist Boko Haram group slaughtered over a hundred victims in a village in northeast Nigeria Saturday night, including a number of children whom they burned alive. The latest atrocity from the jihadi group allied to the Islamic State took place in the village of Dalori, some three miles from Maiduguri, Nigeria. Vice Chairman of a civilian joint task force in Dalori, Modu Kaka, said that at least 100 dead bodies were taken away but that hundreds are still missing. Witnesses spoke of “scores of bodies” burned and riddled with bullets lying in the streets after the attack Saturday night. One man, who managed to escape by hiding in a tree, said that he could hear the wails of children screaming in the flames. Residents of the community said the militants stormed into town around 6:20 pm and began their killing spree, which lasted for several hours. During the assault, the jihadis demolished houses and burned livestock once they had pillaged and carried away foodstuffs. Several of the villagers were burnt beyond recognition. Witnesses reported that the fighters ravaged the settlement for four hours, and that three female suicide bombers blew themselves up among people who were fleeing. Students at nearby University of Maiduguri heard explosions and gunfire, and many fled the area as the conflict raged. One political science student named Hauwa Ba’na said: “We are crying in our hostel because the explosions are loud and everyone is panicking.” A Dalori resident, Mallam Buka, decried the lack of protection from the Nigerian military. “We were helpless. Could you believe that there was no military presence in Dalori? The government didn’t provide security to protect us. I lost 11 people, and 5 of our children are nowhere to be found,” she said. Another resident by the name of Ibrahim Muhammad said that the Boko Haram insurgents had dressed up as military personnel and began opening fire on everybody. “All our wives and children were brutally killed while they looted and destroyed our livestock,” he said. Another day, another massacre by the Islamic State. Sure this is Africa, so it doesn't really count. But raping Nigerian girls and burning kids alive? A new low.
Yes it does. Europe sickens me even more, because it's like pissing on the Mona Lisa. Africa is Africa. But it's equally horrible. Burning children alive. And three female suicide bombers blew themselves up to kill those trying to escape. These people are mentally insane.
Let's keep in mind that this is Boko Haram which only operates inside of Nigeria (and neighboring countries). They are "allied" with Islamic State but are not Islamic State. Boko Haram has a long list of atrocities. They are more brutal than IS, but do not have a "marketing arm" with videos, etc. Boko Haram is not focused on world-wide Islamic revolution but simply taking over Nigeria. Keep in mind that Islamic State has also slaughtered the population of entire towns in Syria including children while raping the women. This is not solely a Boko Haram thing.
I know. That's why I lumped them in together. While yes, Boko Haram is a distinctly separate entity, their tactics and allegiance to IS are the same. Why do you say BH are more brutal then IS?
The reason Boko Haram is more brutal than Islamic State is because their tactics are totally different. Boko Haram goes into a village and deliberately kills everyone, rapes the women, and steals everything possible. The concept is to terrorize and bring down the Nigerian government. Islamic State is trying to form a caliphate. They generally leave the population of towns intact and impose strict Islamic law on them - they need people to rule over to have a caliphate. Anyone who does not follow their law or fails to pay their taxes is punished. Generally large scale atrocities against a town only occur when the population resists being conquered (which is rare). Most of Islamic State atrocities are against non-ISIS soldiers and westerners (journalists, etc.) who are captured. Islamic State uses quite a bit of marketing to spread their vision and attract people world-wide to their cause, and they plan on world-wide domination while supporting attacks in every country (This is also why they are much more of a threat than Boko to western countries).
It sickens me as well. Mankind is going to have to rid itself of 1.3B muslims, that is clear. If you need to call that a holocaust then so be it but there is no comparison. Jews did not seek world domination through violence nor commit horrific acts of cruelty as a policy like Islam. "Rid itself" does not necessarily mean kill but they will have to renounce Islam or be culled. Islam must be outlawed worldwide with capital consequences. Look on Youtube. You will see the beginnings. 200 swedes cornered and severely beat muslims at the Stockholm central rail station and you are going to see this increase exponentially. Our government is on the wrong side of this and will not be able to contain the rage. This is primal.
