what you are referring to is very interesting. Some folks had the same viewpoint, but I was not ready at the time to fully understand what was behind these views. What philosophy/ way of thinking is that from?
p.s. i never diminish the role of the sages, preachers, gurus, etc... they serve their own purpose for our own good.Cheers to them! But you have your own set of eyes to distinct.
The core of that view is advaita(your equal to God(roughly)), i guess, although, at the time i started to search i had no idea what advaita was, nor do i folow it with fanatism now(don`t give a fuck about it, actually). I guess, that was a mix of many traditions and points of view. The point is not to stuck in concrete with any of those. You get little by little out of many traditions and reach to conclusion. But, again!Don`t stuck in one tradition(beliefe system, rules, etc...).That way you`ll never go out and keep spinning the wheel.
There are so many traditions, approaches, etc: the key is to find what works for oneself. How long have you been into this approach ?
It doesn`t really matter how long it would take. But i can give you some points/shortcuts. You are God; The interests`ve gathered you to the point called ''a human being''(you have the ability to assemble and reassemble, by your wish); When you`ll fulfill your interests - your are ''home free''; The most common interests are : 1.Loving heart; 2.Creative mind. Those 2, your(so are the others, including preahcers..lol..) here trying to develope to the fullest. Your eternal, all the above could last forever, untill there are still any interests. At the point when there are no interests, you`ll merge/join to the `uncounscious/collective mind' .
I am going to really look into it, with an open mind that will be open as much as possible. May I ask : Saying to a person that they are God : is it "healthy" thing ? Won't people become narcissistic, or develop arrogance and all unhealthy patterns linked to lack of humility, feelings of superiority, etc?
Don`t tell, just look at them as Gods.Folks know that naturally, but don`t realize counsciously.Tell the dirtiest bum on the street that he`s low, he`d probably tell you to go f.k yourself.Just obsetrve and have fun!
Now, for the approach you are presenting, if someone prefer not to see themselves as being a God - because of belief of the existence of one and only one God, does the rest of the approach holds? Also, how would you go about getting people who are into the beliefs "I am God" or want to be looked like God - as some people have only One GOD - , to basically "go and fuck off with their beliefs" and do not grace the space around oneself ?
lol...The approach is simple - your interests.Interests is what makes the world turn.now, for the someones you constantly mention. Please, realize, they have NO CHOICE!They`ve already programmed themselves for a certain route. You`d be hardly able to interfere. They have their own interests.Of course, sometimes the interests coincide and then you have , a firm, a community, a country, an universe, etc..doesn`t matter the scale, it just miriads beings have gathered their attention to one point, called a firm, a community, an universe, etc... Whatever you call them, gods or worms, it doesn`t make any difference, does it?
basically, they are in a mental prison ? For instance, as I looked a bit into Catholicism, I learned that it had "another side" called S; : A ! ยง T ^ A :/ N ; I ??? S M. And where catholicism was all about only One God, its opposite was all about human being being God While in one, it was all about Creature created by God, who had to worship the One God its nemesis was to believe the creature was equal to the Creator. That is why, I am asking, if one is into the approach that one is God, does the rest of the approach applies ? or is the belief of being a God fundamental to this approach? I don't know if I am explaining well what I do not understand.
