So in your mind... on what grounds is the child of terrorists who harmed Americans entitled to be in the United States.
Apparently there may be a blue list problem with this lady and she may be allowed back into the country. I saw her interview with the British reporter and she said maybe she should just get some counseling as a punishment. I don’t think so, ma’am. Which part of genocide and war in America did you not understand when you joined ISIS?
If the grandparents are U.S. citizens and can sponsor bringing the child to the U.S. based on child welfare claims to get him away from that situation. That may not apply here. But you are implying that if a U.S. citizen commits an act of terrorism, the infant children should be thrown in jail too if caught rather than social services removing the children to other relatives. Perhaps in this case it does not apply if she is not a U.S. citizen but you seem to be against that in the case of a U.S. citizen as well.
Would there not be some benefit to bringing this woman back, having her do thousands of hours of community service talking to young women and men about the true reality of ISIS and terrorist groups in general? As to the child, there is no legal right for the kid to be here, but it would be the humanitarian thing to do. The kid had no say in this. I just think there is benefit to using this person and her story in an effort to prevent other young people from making such stupid choices in their lives. I'm not talking about forgiveness or excusing it, but using it as a tool in the war on terrorism. Just a thought.
The lady was not a U.S. citizen. Her child is not entitled to come to the U.S. I would be against it in the case of a U.S. citizen as well. Once you have joined a terrorist group intent on destroying the U.S. -- you have effectively renounced your U.S. citizenship. The progeny of terrorists should not be entitled to come to the U.S.
More likely she would revert to her extremism and recruit young women and men to go overseas to be terrorists.
I dont want either the mother or the child here. You dont seem to understand that and also have a jaundiced understanding of what the word "entitled" means. Once again exposing lefty tendencies to find entitlements where none exist. I have said in my posts above that the mother and the child are free to and should go to another country out there in that great big world and live the best life that they can but I dont want them here. She is not an American citizen, had been part of Isis family killing Americans, and we are not running a refugee program for Isis, including their kids. I do realize that by saying that I will not get the Angela Merkel award of the year for bringing in refugees and the families of known killers. That's fine. That's why we have lefties. To show compassion for everyone except our own. I see that GWB posted while I was typing, so what he said, minus his use of the word "lady."
As to your first point, she should take it upon herself to do so since she now has a platform, if she is truly sincere. If she is just tired of living like a slave and wants luxuries again, well.....thank you, next! I agree with your second point but since the grandparents themselves are not established U.S. citizens and I see her father is a diplomat of Yemen, let them go to Yemen under his oversight and become responsible for her.
