I've been trading options for several years and have an occasional need for larger order sizes. Does anyone have experience with ISE block orders(options) @ IB? What is your experience with price improvement, time to fill order, exposure of your order to the market, etc? thanks
i don't have experience at IB but I do have access to "off-floor liquidity". if you're as big as you say you are and trade large contracts, they are out there. large online brokerage firms won't even work with IB on their "penny-priced options" cause it's a joke so I doubt you can get anything with large size from them for your option order. do you block trade somewhere right now?
Thanks for the reply.....I have several brokers for both equities/options orders(all are good @ something, none are are good @ everything . I was curious if anybody had specific experience with the ISE block order. Do you have a suggestion for a quality broker for handling size? (big names only)
