  1. For cripes sake. How about an estimate of Trump tower, or 40 wall street, or trump world tower? anyone of those buildiing are probably worth more than 300m a piece.

I think Trump tower commands the highest retail price per sq ft in the world.

  2. Hopefully, Trump has refinanced those buildings and others to strip off cash to build additional buildings. During the next big downturn in the market, he'll lose everything. Ha ha, hee hee, ho ho ho!

  3. A parking spot in Hong Kong (a pretty modest spot in a nondescript garage) recently went for over $600,000. Not only is ASSHOLE TOWER not the highest retail price per sq. ft. in the world it is probably not among the top 100.

You talk about these buildings as if they are not heavily mortgaged. Trump seems to always be heavily leveraged, never pays bills on time (he wiped out dozens of Atlantic City contractors) and is one of the greatest clowns in the Western world.

He inherited thousands of rental units in Queens from his father -- maybe as many as 25,000 -- and contrary to his desire to have people believe he built a "great fortune" from a few million dollars he started with at least an eight figure inheritance. I'm not suggesting he has no talent nor am I suggesting he has not increased the family fortune. But he is a blowhard and an asshole.

When a guy goes on the Howard Stern show and lets Stern describe the mother of his children as a C*** and laughs it off something is seriously amiss.

The only people who should worry about his exact net worth are the creditors and in Trump's case there are a lots of them. This guy plays leverage on the high gear so creditors are something he dreams about alot. :D

I give him about $5k/yr from staying at his Chicago hotel a few times a year. $600/night rooms, $15 martinis...way over priced but the service is always worth it. And I'm by no means a big spender at his place....$8B seems too high, but regardless he's got more money than everyone on ET combined...

  7. If the service is worth it (in your opinion) than it is fairly priced.

"An assessment by Deutsche Bank, when it underwrote a loan for one property, was that Mr Trump was worth $788m."

"In the real world, New Jersey casino auditors estimated in public reports that as of September 1990, Donald was worth about $206 million - almost all of which was tied up in hotels, an airline, casinos and other properties that were devaluing rapidly or about to be taken away from him. Donald's cash on hand was only $17 million, and that was dissolving quickly as well."

"Three people with direct knowledge of Donald's finances, people who had worked closely with him for years, told me that they thought his net worth was somewhere between $150 million and $250 million. (Donald's casino holdings have recently rebounded in value, perhaps adding as much as $135 million to these estimates.) By anyone's standards, this still qualified Donald as comfortably wealthy, but none of these people thought that he was remotely close to being a billionaire."
